COVID-19 Policy

We are fully vaccinated! We at S & S Overhead Door value your business and want to share with you the measures we are taking in order to continue serving our customers responsibly during this COVID-19 Pandemic. We are following the sanitary guidelines recommended by the CDC.

▪ Our service technicians will sanitize their hands before and after servicing your door.

▪ Technicians will wear gloves as much as possible during the service procedure.

▪ Technicians will not be sent out on jobs if they are not feeling well.

▪ All repair services can be done without personal contact.

Priority Service Calls

We will do our best to schedule repairs and estimates. Thus far our suppliers have assured us that they do not foresee shortages or delays on doors, hardware or supplies. Therefore, this should not hinder any orders already placed or to be placed going forward.

We know that many of our customers will want immediate access to their vehicles in the event of emergency. If you are unable to access your garage due to a broken or damaged door or hardware, we will do our best to accommodate you for a repair based on our availability. However, priority service will be given to essential personnel: law enforcement members, first responders, healthcare workers and active military personnel.

Residential Service/Installation

▪ We will schedule an appointment and will call the homeowner upon arrival.

▪ We will not go into your home and can access your garage without assistance from the homeowner.

▪ If homeowners prefer, they may open the garage and go back inside.

▪ We will call you upon completion of the job to discuss any necessary details.

▪ Payments may made by credit card, Venmo or by mailing a check.

▪ If you are in good health and wish to speak with our technician during your service call or estimate, know that we will maintain social distance of 6 feet or more.

▪ If preferred we will call you after your service call or estimate to discuss details by phone.

Regarding Scheduled appointments

Given the extenuating circumstances related to COVID-19 we ask that you postpone your scheduled appointment for repair or installation of garage doors if you have fever or flu symptoms, are in quarantine or self-isolating due to potential exposure to COVID-19 or have traveled outside the country in the past 14 days. We thank you in advance for your courtesy in helping to minimize the spread of this virus.
