S & S Overhead Door Company is family owned and operated business that has been serving the suburban Boston area for more than 50 years. In the early 1950's the company's founder, Vincent Scalese learned the craft of door repair and installation having worked for a New England based commercial garage door service. With the post-war housing boom, new construction flourished in the areas west of Boston inspiring Vincent to establish a business that would provide sales, service and installation of residential garage doors and electric operators.

In 1977 Vincent's son Gary assumed operation of S & S Overhead Door working with Vincent until his retirement in 1985. Gary continued to run the family business successfully throughout the 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s when his Son Justin came aboard. Justin picked up the business just as his father did many years ago. In Early 2019 Gary retired From the road but still continues to help out in the office. More than fifty years later, Justin, continuing to provide the same quality service that S & S has been known for through all three generations.

S & S Overhead Door has been recognized for outstanding service, earning the Super Service Award of Excellence on Angieslist and continues to gain outstanding customer reviews on Yelp, Nextdoor and other social media platforms.
